OfficeMate/ExamWRITER 8.0.24 provides critical updates to the CMS 1500 and ANSI claims.
If you submit claims using print or print image or use an electronic claim vendor other than Gateway EDI, you must install version 8.0.24 on all computers running OfficeMate/ExamWRITER 8.0.23 and earlier prior to April 1, 2014. After March 31, 2014, Medicare and private insurance carriers will no longer accept the CMS 1500 (08/05).
You must be using OfficeMate/ExamWRITER 8.0.23 or 8.0.24 to eventually upgrade to version 8.0.25.
Warning: Prior to installing version 8.0.24, verify that your insurance carriers or clearinghouses are accepting the CMS 1500 (02/12) form. Once you upgrade to version 8.0.24, you will lose all access to the old CMS 1500 form.
1. Back Up Your Data

2. Download OfficeMate/ExamWRITER 8.0.24
Note: If you are running OfficeMate/ExamWRITER 8.0.21 or earlier, you must first install version 8.0.23 on each workstation and then install version 8.0.24. Instructions are provided below.
