VSP Benefits Estimation Call Failed

Abstract:

If you recently upgraded to OfficeMate 10.7 and receive an error stating the benefits estimation failed while pricing a VSP order, ensure your VSP doctor ID is entered correctly:

  1. Open OfficeMate Administration.
  2. Click Setup and select Resource Setup.
  3. On the Provider tab, select your name (or the doctor's name) from the list.
  4. Type the VSP doctor ID (Did) in the VSP Doc ID text box.
    Depending on how you registered with Eyefinity, your doctor ID is either your social security number or EIN.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Price your order again.
    If the benefits estimation fails again, alternate your social security number or EIN in the VSP Doc ID text box.
