If you began using Optos before ExamWRITER, your Optos Patient IDs will be different than your ExamWRITER patient numbers; therefore, your Optos and ExamWRITER patients will not be linked to each other. The ExamWRITER/Optos Patient Synchronization Utility automatically links your Optos and ExamWRITER patients.
Note: Patients whose retinal images were captured using the ExamWRITER Optos Integration will automatically be linked.
If you are using ExamWRITER alone, open the .exe file attached to this article and run the EW_OptosSyncPatID utility to link your Optos and ExamWRITER patients to each other.
