If you want to create an eDocument for a device like a topographer, that is connected to a computer but does not integrate with ExamWRITER, the most expedient way to create an electronic document for this type of device output is to print the output directly to a PDF and save it in the eDocuments folder on the OfficeMate server. Then you can link the document to the record as an eDocument.
If your office is currently printing and then scanning the documents to PDF, you may potentially be purchasing or using a color printer and a color scanner that you don't need, and you may be using valuable time completing these tasks.
