Error When Sending Message Through ExamWRITER/AcuityLogic HL7 Interface

After setting up the ExamWRITER/AcuityLogic HL7 Interface, you may receive the following error in the HL7 Service Log when attempting to send an HL7 message from ExamWRITER to AcuityLogic:

System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'Eyefinity.Messaging.Common.IniHelper' threw an exception. ---> System.UriFormatException: Invalid URI: The URI is empty.

If you receive this error, make sure that the correct logon information for the HL7 Windows service is set up by following the instructions below:

1. Click the Start button and select Control Panel.
   The Control Panel window opens.
2. Double-click Administrative Tools, and then double-click Services.
   The Services window opens.
3. Scroll down and select HL7_EWService.
4. If you are reinstalling the HL7 Windows service, click Stop to stop
