Can I submit VSP Vision Care Finishing (IOF) orders though the OfficeMate VSP Interface?

Yes, you can submit VSP in-office finishing (IOF) orders through the OfficeMate VSP Interface. An office can use itself as a lab to edge lenses in-house and still bill the lenses through the VSP Interface.

In the VSP Product Mapping window, select the lab called "VSP IOF Program."

To view the IOF lenses that you must use for the IOF Program, follow the instructions below:

1. In OfficeMate Administration, click Tasks and select Lens Product Loader.
2. Select Ophthalmic Lenses from the Product Type drop-down menu.
3. Type IOF in the Product Name text box.
4. Click Find. All of the IOF lenses are displayed.

To process an Rx for the IOF Program, make sure that you complete the following steps:

1. Create an Eyewear Rx order.
2. Ensure that the Rx is for a single vision lens, as only single vision lenses are eligible for the VSP IOF Program.
3. In the Lens area, select an IOF stock lens.
4. Select the Stock radio button.
5. Record the Lens Diameter.
6. Click the Frame Order tab, and record the frame information.
7. When choosing a lab, select a VSP IOF Program Lab, as only one of these labs can process the order.
