Automating PQRS Codes on Eyemed Insurance Claims

Eyemed has requested to receive PQRS procedure codes on insurance claims. To automatically apply PQRS codes on exams in ExamWRITER for patients who use Eyemed as their primary insurance carrier, follow the instructions below:

1. From the OfficeMate/ExamWRITER Administration main window, click Setup.
2. Select Third Party Setup.
3. Select Eyemed as the insurance carrier.
4. Click the Preferences tab.
5. Select Automate PQRI.
6. Click Save.
7. Open the Patient Demographics window and click the Insurance tab.
8. Assign Eyemed to the patient as the patient's primary insurance carrier.
9. Click OK.
