OfficeMatev v11.1 Patient Communication Patch

Abstract:

This patch resolves an issue that prevents patient communication services, such as Demandforce and Solutionreach, from being able to access the OfficeMate v11.1 database.

Download and install this patch only if you have installed OfficeMate v11.1 and you use a third-party patient communication service.

Downloading and Installing the Patch
The patch must be installed on the computer that is running the patient communication service (usually the OfficeMate server). Perform the following steps to install the patch.

  1. Close OfficeMate/ExamWRITER on every workstation.
  2. Close the patient communication program or service.
  3. Download the patch [click here to download] and save it to the desktop of the computer running the patient communication service.
  4. Double-click Patient_Comm_Patch.exe.
    The Open File - Security Warning window opens.
  5. Click Run.
    The WinZip Self-Extractor window opens.
  6. Click Browse, if necessary, and navigate to and select the location of your OMATE32 or OfficeMate folder (often C:\OMATE32 or C:\OfficeMate) and click OK.
  7. Click Unzip to install the files.
  8. Click OK after the file successfully unzips.
  9. Click Close to close the WinZip Self-Extractor window.
  10. Restart the patient communication program or service.
  11. Delete the Patient_Comm_Patch.exe file from your desktop.
