Issue: You are unable to use the Eyefinity EHR or ExamWRITER Optovue equipment interface.
Note: This issue will be resolved in OfficeMate/ExamWRITER 14.0.
Resolution:
- Navigate to the Windows folder on your computer.
- Double-click the omequip.ini file to open it.
- Copy the [FREDD] section of text in the file. It will look similar to this:

- Navigate to the EHR_EI folder (if you are using Eyefinity EHR) or OfficeMate folder (if you are using ExamWRITER) on your computer.
- Double-click the SetupEWEquipIF.exe file to open it. If you are using Eyefinity EHR with Eyefinity Practice Management, download the SetupEWEquipIF.exe file at https://s3.amazonaws.com/eyefinity.ehr/SetupEWEquipIF.exe and then double-click the file to open it.
- Enable the Optovue interface.
- Click Save/Exit.
- Reopen the omequip.ini file in the Win
